Set in a stunning location in the Lincolnshire Wolds, Skendleby Hall offers the perfect venue for a relaxing retreat , whether it’s a single day or over multiple days our objective is to cultivate a perfect healing environment to allow you to recuperate, relax and restore. The building has in addition to an impressive interior a warm and welcoming feel, comfortable and inviting, the perfect backdrop for your healing journey.
During your time with us you’ll be hosted by Steve and Yvonne, experienced retreat facilitators, together with the rest of the team providing for your every need or whim. Exquisite nutrition is also a key part of the retreat with talented chefs and nutritionists, ensuring not only your mind but your body receives everything it needs.
Time to heal..
We use a combination of healing techniques from yoga to meditation, sound baths and breath work together with a range of other therapeutic modalities such as massage and facials, also included are a number of informative and interesting workshops to allow you to continue your journey after you’ve left. Overall our aim is to provide you with a complete, deeply nourishing and sublime experience.

So, where did it all begin?
Steve and Yvonne have been in the holistic and wellness industry for many years, Steve primarily as a therapist specialising in the areas of anxiety, PTSD and trauma. Yvonne as a yoga teacher and yoga therapist. They are both fully qualified breath work facilitators, sound practitioners and so they combine their specialisms to create truly unique sessions that are both beneficial for physical and mental health.
We have very recently relocated from North Yorkshire to Lincolnshire and part of this reason was to partner with Skendleby Hall to create very special retreats and experiences.
Having been involved in many successful retreats both in the UK and abroad over the last 10 years they are very much looking forward to this exciting new opportunity.
The Food

It is not uncommon to forget that our mind and body are inseparably linked. Wellness is not just about practice or expertise, mediation or healing, it’s about the mind and body being in unison to support overall well being.
Key to this is appropriate nutrition, it is often said that the most important medication that we take daily is the food we eat. Fuelling not only the body but supporting the brain resulting in a healthy mind. It’s not just about the food we eat it’s about the environment where we choose to nourish ourselves.
At Skendleby retreats our aim is to provide all aspects of nutrition and nourishment whether during one of the sessions or at meal times. Our imaginative and skilled chefs work tirelessly to provide nutritious and tasty food and snacks throughout your stay with us.
More than just a relaxing retreat, but an informative and exciting culinary experience. All meals are taken in the beautiful dining room, an amazing community space to share experiences, smile and laugh, time to make connections which may last a lifetime.
All dietary requirements can of course be accommodated for.

Why Wellness At Skendleby?
In the modern world it is often easy to forget the importance of pausing, taking time to honour your mind and body. In today’s hectic environment, disease and illness are prevalent. In particular the high levels of auto immune disease can be attributed to excessive information which is a net result of not taking time to allow our bodies to heal.
